Frequently Asked Questions

ChemSortia is designed for chemical manufacturers, regulatory professionals, research organizations, consultancies, and other stakeholders involved in regulatory compliance.

Yes. ChemSortia uses encryption, complies with international data protection laws, and includes confidentiality clauses in all agreements to ensure data security.

Refer to the Getting Started section for a step-by-step guide. In brief: search by CAS number, log in, review study summaries, submit a purchase request, preview the agreement, and complete payment upon approval.

Yes. Users can view summary-level information (e.g., physicochemical and toxicological endpoints) before committing to purchase.

Currently, we accept payments via PayPal, which offers a secure and widely used method for international transactions. We are continuously evaluating additional payment options to support a wider range of users in the future.

The data can be used in any region that is covered by the purchased license.

If you are interested in selling or licensing your chemical study data via ChemSortia, please fill out the Data Submission Interest Form available on the platform. This form allows you to indicate the substances, study types, and preferred licensing models you wish to offer. Once submitted, our team will contact you directly to review your information and guide you through the next steps, including agreement structuring and data validation.

Studies must meet regional regulatory standards and include documentation like study name, guideline, and reliability score. All submissions are reviewed for quality.

  • Full Ownership: Paid after the first sale.
  • Sublicense: One-time payment after first sublicense.
  • Direct License: Payment minus a service fee.

The data will be available in all regions where the study is valid and where the format of the study is accepted by the respective regulatory authorities.

Yes. Members of the same organization can log in using the same credentials to manage purchases, agreements, and data submissions collaboratively. However, for security and traceability reasons, we recommend that each user has their own login credentials. While role-specific user accounts (e.g., admin, legal, technical) are not currently available, we are evaluating this functionality for future development. Until then, shared access should be used with caution and internal coordination.

It depends on the licensing agreement:

  • Full Ownership Transfer: Trustee becomes the sole owner
  • License to Trustee: Trustee can sublicense to others
  • Direct License: Purchaser receives a single-use license
